Dozer Wash
The Speedywash team were awarded the design, procurement and installation package of a dedicated heavy asset wash for the D11 Dozer fleet at the Wiggins Island Coal Export facility. Client, a consortium consisting of Aquilina Resources, Glencore, New Hope Coal, Coronado Curragh and Yan Coal required the high volume, fit for purpose asset protection system which met the stringent environmental standards of the Queensland Government to ensure the operation of the 120MTPA coal loading facility.
Speedywash entered the project at its inception as a consultant to provide design coordination head contractors, delivering a design brief and basis of design allowing the project services to be allocated. The facility moved from conceptual design, to detailed design for presentation to stakeholders including the federal and state government for approval.
Construction began and Speedywash maintained complete responsibility over procurement, production, construction and commissioning. The facility presents the operation with an uncompromising ability to ensure a clean and operating fleet of 9 D11 Dozers.
